Baroque Bespoke Jewellery was established in 2006 by a collective of Brighton
jewellery designers and goldsmiths : Jason French and Pippa Knowles,
our beautiful shop and on-site workshop is based in Brighton’s Lanes on the South Coast.
Our team have been gathering accolades and awards over the years, having recently being awarded “Best Boutique Retailer” in the prestigious U.K. Jewellery Awards.
From each of our designer jewellers’ love of the unusual and quirky and our passion for quality craftsmanship, Brighton’s Baroque Jewellery has gradually become a brand that is synonymous with stunning bespoke commissions.
With our eclectic mix of backgrounds, which gives us an unrivalled jewellery design outlook (classical with a rock and roll twist) we have over 60 years combined experience in jewellery making.
Baroque Bespoke Jewellery is situated in the Jewellery Quarter in Brighton’s Lanes.
A network of antique jewellery shops linked by cobbled streets and winding alleys. The shop has been described as “opulently gothic” filled with vintage wooden cabinets, wallpaper inspired by Brighton’s Pavillion and unique window display’s that in the past have involved giant snow globes and revolving bird cages.
As well as stocking our own jewellery collections we like to champion the leading lights of British jewellery design – of which there is no end of talent – local jewellers and emerging and graduating designers.
Each designer jeweller has their own unique style, which is displayed in the variety of pieces we produce, ranging from classic engagement and wedding rings, beautiful bridal jewellery, commitment bands and one-off, fine jewellery.
One of the features that makes Baroque Jewellery unique is our on-site workshop.
Here our goldsmiths make bespoke pieces, carry out repairs and re-model customers’ heirlooms to suit their individual designs. Using the most up-to-date techniques, our talented and experienced goldsmiths can do anything from repairing a broken chain to designing and crafting your dream engagement ring.
Our workshop can undertake most jewellery repairs including:
- Specialist platinum laser welding technology
- Ring resizing
- Jewellery refurbishment and re-polishing
- Engraving services including hand engraving and laser engraving
- Remounting of old diamonds and precious stones
- Diamond repairs (chipped/damaged diamonds)
