But who better to hear from then our wonderful clients that have proposed with a Baroque engagement ring and had a YES. It was hard to narrow down what stories to share, as we are lucky to play a part in so many but here are two of our favourites…
Sophie Mae & Jade: From Admiration to Commitment
“We were initially a long-distance couple, with Jade living in Sheffield & me (Sophie) in Sussex. Whenever Jade came to visit, we’d always stop to admire the Baroque window. In 2023, she fell in love with a ring we saw—but I waited, just in case she changed her mind. Soon after, I moved to Sheffield to be with Jade, and each Brighton visit became more meaningful. In May 2024, we visited for her birthday and saw the ring in the window again. She was in love. A month later, she proposed in Colmar, France. Two weeks before I proposed back, I secretly sent my mum to collect a ring from Baroque. The team were so helpful through the whole process—even from afar.”
Frankie & Sam: A Diamond That Chose Them

Fast-forward five years, and we visited together. Sam subtly asked about my ring preferences. A few months later, he contacted Baroque and began the bespoke process. They sourced multiple stones, and one literally jumped into his lap—that was the diamond. I’m obsessed with it—the tulip claw setting, the salt & pepper sparkle… it’s like a night sky.*“
